Sofas & Lounges Brisbane, Direct Import From Our Coopers Plains Showroom

Hype Living Furniture is a direct import lounge showroom at 1/8 Boyland Avenue, Coopers Plains, about fifteen minutes south of the Brisbane CBD off Beaudesert Road. We bring container loads of sofas, modular suites and recliners in from the manufacturer and sell them off our own floor, so there is no wholesaler and no shopping centre rent in the price. A 3+2+1 electric recliner suite starts at $2,099 here. A genuine leather corner sofa with a chaise is $1,599. A six seater corner in PU leather is $1,499.

Delivery across Brisbane is $55 inside 20 km of the showroom, which covers most of the city from Chermside to Carindale to Kenmore, and $75 out to 40 km for places like Redcliffe, Cleveland and Ipswich. For suites in stock we can often deliver the same day on the southside, and otherwise within one to two business days. Pickup is free and most orders are ready within four hours.

Everything on the website is on the floor. Come in, sit on five or six suites in a row, check the seat depth and the recline, and decide in person. We are open 7 days from 10am to 4:30pm, and someone answers the phone or the Facebook message in minutes, not days.

On materials we are specific, because a lot of shops are not. MODENA, ASPEN, CAMDEN, MILANO and ASPECT are genuine leather. ROMA is air leather and HENNESSY and HIWA are Capri leather, both synthetics that cost less and wipe clean. BETTY is PU. Rhino fabric is a heavy weave that holds up to kids and dogs. Brisbane summers are humid, so if the lounge sits in a room that opens onto a deck, a fabric or a synthetic is often the more practical pick than full leather.

Stock changes with every container. The New Arrivals page shows what landed last, and the product page shows what is actually left in each colour.
