An electric recliner does the one thing a manual never will: it stops exactly where you want it. Press and hold, let go, and the footrest and back stay put at any angle. That matters more than it sounds once you have one in the house, because nobody sits the same way to watch a film as they do to read.
Every suite on this page has powered seats. Most run on USB and USB-C ports built into the arm, so phones charge where you sit. Several have cup holders and a drop-down console between the seats, and a few have LED lighting along the base, which is either the best feature in the room or the first thing you switch off. It depends on the household.
What they cost. The JASON 3+2+1 in Rhino fabric is $2,099 and is the one we sell most of: six seats, five of them powered, with the middle seat of the three seater a fold-down console. The ASPECT five seater corner in genuine leather is $2,799. The ROMA six seater corner sectional in air leather, a synthetic, is $2,899 and has dual motors on each seat, so the headrest moves separately from the footrest. The MILANO three piece L shape in genuine leather is $2,799. Prices change with each container, so the page is the source of truth, not this paragraph.
Leather or fabric. Genuine leather costs more and ages well. Capri and air leather are synthetics that cost less and wipe clean, which is the better choice with kids, dogs or a sunny room. Rhino fabric is a heavy weave that reads like leather from across the room and behaves like fabric when something spills on it. We say which is which on every product, because a lot of shops do not.
Two practical things before you buy. Electric recliners need a power point within reach of each piece, so check where the sockets are in the room. And a corner suite with motors is heavy. Measure the doorway and the hallway turn, and if you are not sure, send us a photo and we will tell you whether it will go in.
Every suite here is on the floor at 1/8 Boyland Avenue, Coopers Plains, open 7 days from 10am to 4:30pm. Sit on them, work the motors, and decide in person. Delivery across South East Queensland starts at $55, or pick up from the showroom free.
